Such a beautiful continent, it's best us Blacks from the western hemisphere invest so that we can control our own businesses and profit, with how beautiful things will look 20-50 years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if a plethora of whites migrated, the time is now to invest and help. @Dreamestorical you have a link to where you got them pics from? Has Nigeria industrialized yet? It seems like its slowly happening with the country like what happened with China during the 70's. Nigeria's going to be the next China.

But so far it seems South Africa is the only African nation that has industrialized. Nigeria and Egypt seem to be closing in though.

An industrialized Nigeria would be scary to the West. Which is why I think Eastern countries like China and Russia are helping Africa economically.

Also the people who oppose China doing business in Africa are only angered/paranoid Westerners or people who been brainwashed by Western news sources.

I can only agree that China's aim would be to have African counties to be something less extreme of a pawn but certainly not outright 19th century colonization with the Chinese taking over African governments; like the Western media tries to propose.

The reason why I say it is good is because it will be great for both China and Africans. Plus in this way they African countries could become powerful.

China allowed its pawn North Korea to gain nukes and doesn't mind Iran gaining nukes.

The west has done nothing but cause misery for Africa:
Giving dictators loans, controlling the economy watching these now rich dictators wage silly wars etc.
Showing how pathetic Africa is in the media throwing money at the poor which ends up in war lords hands. Essentially keeping them down while trying to look like the goods guys helping them.

China might want more powerful allies to face against the west.

China and Russia can not face against the u.s. and Europe by them self's.

Sadly a lot off african countries are not doing enough to strengthen thier military. This is because the seeds of fear that were left by decades of wars and military rule on the continent have made a lot of Africans weary of any increase in military power. Though we have a few countries that are actively trying to build up thier military like Angola, ethopia, Nigeria(due to boko haram) e.t.c
