Update for anyone interested:
I've basically have been off my game for a year . Right around May 2017 I was probably in the best shape of my life and I spent the next year ridiculously unfocused in the gym and with nutrition. It's nothing worse than knowing better and not doing it. I've basically spent the last month or so trying to find the right programming for training to get back in gear and putting the work in nutrition wise to support it. That said its June 1st and the next 12 weeks are set to get back to a reasonable (in my mind) body composition at 40 plus years of age. After that I'll figure out the best route to maintain for a little bit before doing another 12 week round that hopefully will be my "walk-around weight" for the next 9-10 years.
That said I appreciate the community, everyone here is super helpful and in a lot of way this place has changed my life for the positive.
Back to work.............................................
