The Star Wars fandom doing what they do best.
Racist nerds ruin everythingJust finished the show, and it was not bad at all. At. fukking. All.
Only thing I didn't like was that muskrat character, clearly designed to sell some merch.
Story, great.
Unexplored new lore, great
Fight scenes, new style and top notch
plot twists, great.
Fandom, fukk them. Shoulda took this type of hate and applied it to Boba Fett.
Is it as good as Empire, Rogue One or Andor? Hell nawl.
Is it the worst thing Disney/Star Wars ever produced? HELL NAWL.
fukk these new age fandom fans. Music, wrestling, comics, movies, manga, anime, tv shows, ruining every goddamn thing.![]()
Nah fans loved the trash that was Obi Wonnah, fukk this noise. this show sucked... but it is a perfect example of how fukkin terrible "fandom" and racism is these days. we're never gonna be able to criticise anyone or anything again b/c there are extreme fukkheads with bad intentions who ruin it for everyone. main chick wasn't good. the twins weren't interesting. but since she was a black woman (lesbian?) that's all that gets talked about. not how the coven of lesbian witches fukkin sucked, or the jedi woman was the dumbest looking character in any star war project, or how it was totally obvious that Good Place dude was helmet guy, or how Darth Plageous just kinda shows up in the background for internet sleuths to break down, etc. nah it's just, "racists ruined this show." shyt was "mid" on its best day
Obi Wan was fukkin mid as fukk too, but everyone just kinda agrees it was mid as fukk, bc there's no hot iron issue to blame racists/sexists/whateverists for.
A ton of people shyt on Dune Prophecy and didn't think it did right by the sect in it either. Acolyte didn't do enough with the sect in their show. But, I thought the concept of that coven had potential even if the show didn't fulfil it.This show was so ass it annoys me people are tryna rewrite history and say it was unfairly hated on. This shyt sucked. Look at how Dune Prophecy handled a powerful religious sect of women vs how the acolyte handled it. One was an example of sharp writing and the other was pandering lets-check-all-the-boxes bullshyt.
So mad Plagueis got wasted on this trash.
You can criticize anything. The real problem is that it's harder to get through the noise. Because of the toxic fandom. I'm seeing praise for Sinners all over the place even from people I would normally expect to shyt on it, because it's got so many black actors in it. And then after getting beyond the noise I'm still finding people that just gave it an okay review. One in particular was like the first two acts were slow and were dragging the pacing, but the third act really propped it and made the movie.nah, fukk this noise. this show sucked... but it is a perfect example of how fukkin terrible "fandom" and racism is these days. we're never gonna be able to criticise anyone or anything again b/c there are extreme fukkheads with bad intentions who ruin it for everyone. main chick wasn't good. the twins weren't interesting. but since she was a black woman (lesbian?) that's all that gets talked about. not how the coven of lesbian witches fukkin sucked, or the jedi woman was the dumbest looking character in any star war project, or how it was totally obvious that Good Place dude was helmet guy, or how Darth Plageous just kinda shows up in the background for internet sleuths to break down, etc. nah it's just, "racists ruined this show." shyt was "mid" on its best day

It's been a couple of years since I watched Obi Wan but I didn't find that mid at all. And I definitely remember people shytting on it simply because of the main inquisitor so it still had the things racists/sexists/whateverists loved to hate on. I think the Mandalorian is overrated but not a bad watch. It does seem that people have been retconning their feelings about it in the post Gina Carano firing.
I don't think enough people talk about how shytty the Bobba Fett series is because all the fans love that character.
