I'm not talking about the actual movies. It's about these actors that keep bringing it up. No one wants to hear/see all that. This has been a big issue for a few years now. We watch movies and award shows for entertainment; not opinions and such. Of course it's a high platform to express oneself, but keep that shyt for interviews and social media.
This is an interesting take considering majority of the films people hold in high regard throughout history including the ones usually nominated at these shows have something to say socially and politically. Like complaining about comic books being too political, but they've been political since their inception.
Awards shows are the best place to say something because you have a room full of your peers and employers, the stand and all eyes on you for a minute or so.
