That is what it is though. It's a visual marvel, and it's worth seeing for that alone. But the story's not particularly compelling. CLooney basically got paid to play himself in the movie.

The story is simple because its a fable and fables are relatively simple. I'm not saying it's the greatest flick of the year and definitely don't think it should win best picture but everything in it has a point

But you must not know how the 'genda fingerpointing works...

You know there was some fruity columnist over at Huffington Post, talking about DBC shouldn't win anything cause they was no gay shyt in it. Talking about how the lead character was super straight guy who got AIDS. Them fakkits try to make fukken everything about them. All kind of people got HIV/AIDS at that time, kids, that hemophiliac tennis player, anybody who had multiple blood transfusions, drug addicts who shared needles etc.
