It’s looking like Ravens might go the route of signing a Vet WR or trade for one

Maybe a Julio Jones or Jarvis Landry which @STAN JONES wouldn’t like :russ: but this is a Ravens move

I prefer to trade for one. We will have to see this summer. :ehh:

Nothing screams "ravens move" more than kicking the tires on an old vet wideout

Word to Derrick Mason you still the best :wow:

I'm glad they finally addressed RB! He's small and doesn't fit their current scheme, but hopefully he'll be a good change of pace or 3rd down option, strictly receiving though...he's a little too small to stop a blitzing LB or go 1v1 someone in pass protection.

I would grade this draft an A.

They killed the first 5 picks. Based off the CBs they picked late, Hamilton and the FA signing of Williams and all their propensity to get INTS, it's clear they're looking to generate turnovers and they should be focused on that because they've been abysmal at it.

I still don't like the Stout pick. He may have been available as an undrafted rookie.

Kolar and Likely are going to be asked to pass protect to keep defenses honest, but its clear to me, they're goal is to become receiving threats. They may have found a replacement for Hayden Hurst in one of them...I HOPE!

Overall they killed this draft. I would've liked to have seen them double up on OT and get Kinnard, who went to the Chiefs :sadcam:, but I'm happy with the picks except for Stout.

They got some very high ceiling defensive talent. Hamilton, Ojabo and Jones are young pillars MacDonald can build a potentially historic defense on. Not sure how long its going to take for the defense to get to that level, and I think they still need a MLB who can do it all, but the major holes have been filled on paper. Another bigger outside corner wouldn't hurt though. Marlon needs to be moved to slot.

Not a single WR was seen all draft. :francis:

Gonna be running 14 personnel sets this season. :mjlol:

If Julio and Jarvis are too expensive, they'll pick up a camp casualty vet. I think if they wanted either of those guys, they'd have them already. It's gotta be a money issue.

They'll address WR a few weeks or months before the season.

you all getting a really good LB, he’s been productive for several years, hope he catches on

You're right about Ross! What a pick up. Really surprised he didn't get drafted, but Leo Chanel did and they basically have the same skill set.

Michigan linebacker Josh Ross is one of their vocal and emotional leaders. Ross has been voted as a captain in back-to-back seasons. He’s an experienced prospect with 49 games and 23 starts under his belt. He is a downhill aggressive tone-setter. Ross projects as a MIKE linebacker in a 3-4 defense, similar to Michigan’s. He can operate as a heat-seeking missile after he locates the football. Will deliver a nice blow to the ball-carrier. His game has an old-school feel to it. He punishes lead blockers in the run game to clog up running lanes. He’s an average spot dropper in zone coverage and anything extra should be avoided. Ross is a good blitz option between the A-gaps. His contribution on third downs maybe limited due to his lack of coverage abilities. He will shock and shed blockers to create penetration in the running game.
