They have so many holes and most of the 1st round picks can make an immediate impact. It's really gonna be tough this year at 14. I can see us looking back in a year or 2 and thinking "damn, they could've had him!" Oh well, that's the nature of the business.

Anyway, I was thinking Linderbaum from Iowa, but the Giants need a center too. Plus, he's only 290. I can only imagine what the IDL of the North would do to him. I've seen him lunge and get pulled down in pass protection.

The WR from USC, whose name I cant recall at the moment, should be there. His season ended after 8 games because of an ankle injury. He's 6'5" 210 and would be a huge problem for any corner, probably even Ramsey. The Ravens have always wanted a big talented WR and he might be the one they've been looking for.

Should be atleast two day 1 starters at cornerback too. And let's not forget Devin Lloyd who would probably be a 1st team All Pro at some point in his career.

What are the odds the Ravens go defensive player in the 1st to help McDonald establish his kind of defense?
that center from Iowa doesn’t fit our scheme

he fits in a zone blocking scheme and we run power

i agree with you on Drake London(the USC WR) and I also like Treylon Burks…6’3 225 and he runs alot of those routes they make Hollywood run(5 yard outs,WR screens, jet sweeps, etc)

unlike Hollywood,Burks has the size and wiggle to break tackles or make guys miss on those routes

Burks is probably the better fit but either would be a big upgrade to the receiving core

I still think we end up taking a CB in round 1 :heh:

it will depend on what we do in free agency but right now I’d say they’re definitely gonna go defense with a slight outside chance that we go oline with the pick

its gonna be CB,pass rusher,or oline IMO…probably in that order

this is big news

Up until now Caas always handled the business side and Ozzie ran the football side(even after he stepped down as GM)

looks like Sashi Brown is getting full control on both sides

this might be what was needed to make DeCosta and Harbs feel the pressure

Caas and Ozzie were never gonna hold them accountable because they’re too close to them

Exactly. Hopefully Sashi won't get any push back from Biscotti when Harbs and DeCosta come crying.

Sashi had a bad run in Cleveland from a winning perspective, but he got them Chubb, Denzel Ward and a great pick at the time in Mayfield. He will definitely be a change for the Ravens. Harbaugh's toes start getting stepped on, he may just leave because he doesn't have the control he wants. He's a means to an end. I don't expect him to have a tenure like Cass, but something is definitely going to happen under his time here that's gonna hurt some feelings at the castle.

I haven't looked at the Texans sacks allowed and running stats from 2014-2020 yet, but he hasn't coached since 2020. Seems like a "hey John, I know a good guy that's looking for work" hire.
