Never heard of the 104 pick Brandon Stephens. I'm gonna have to check out his tape.

Ben Cleveland scouting report.

Ben Cleveland aligned at right guard for the Bulldogs' offense. He is an average athlete with regard to his lateral agility and body quickness. However, he is a nasty interior lineman with solid technique and hand placement. He comes off the ball and strikes in the run game. He gets vertical movement and also does a good job of being a finisher. In the passing game, he is difficult to bull rush due to his competitiveness, nasty demeanor, and functional strength. He can anticipate stunts and twists inside and knows when to come off his man.

Ideal Role: Prominent role players who could develop into a starter.

Scheme Fit: Power running scheme would be ideal.

Brandon Stephens scouting report. They botched this one. He's the 219th ranked pick. If they needed a corner, Shakur Brown Michigan St., Shawn Wade Ohio State were there. They're saying he might move to safety, Ar'Darius Washington, Taylor Gillepsie were there. He's a special teamer and they drafted him in the 3rd. Scouting report is big on his potential. Hopefully, these potential guys pan out for them, but he's a high risk, high reward pick IMO.

Brandon Stephens began his college career at UCLA where he was a running back and buried on the depth chart. He was a graduate transfer in 2019 and took his talents to SMU where he moved from running back to cornerback during preseason camp and immediately became a starter for the Mustangs, a position he held for his final two seasons. It’s remarkable how quickly Stephens was able to claim a starting role and earn the trust of his coaches. From a physical traits perspective, Stephens offers an exciting package of size, length, and athleticism. There aren’t any roles on the field he isn’t physically capable of filling in terms of coverage techniques and alignments. The key for Stephens is gaining more time on task at cornerback so that the nuances of the position and mental side of the game become more natural to him. As it stands, he lacks comfort mirroring routes and being consistent with his spacing and anticipation in zone. With that said, he has flashed the ability to be disruptive at the catch point and is always willing to be physical. His competitive toughness and aggressiveness as a tackler shine on tape. Stephens is very much a developmental option that should be a quality special teams contributor early on, but his career will be defined by how he continues to progress and learn the cornerback position. The encouraging part of his projection is that he isn’t lacking anything when it comes to size, athleticism, and toughness.

Ideal Role: Developmental depth, special teams.

Scheme Fit: Any.

I'm guessing it's gonna be an open competition for the RG, LG and Center spots this training camp. Stan has a great idea and I hope the Ravens do indeed move Bozeman to Center. He'll be competing with MeKari and Costillo for the Center spot. I just hope Tyre Phillips and Bredeson have improved significantly from last season. Atleast one of them is going to be starting at guard :hamster:. Hopefully Cleveland dominates and they have no choice, but to put him in day 1.

I just hope they get the former RT for the Titans and not that Villauenva bytch. He's ass and would be a supreme down grade from Zeus Jr.

:russ: Exactly!!
PFF dude said they didnt even watch him so they cant even give an evaluation :wtf:

Daniel Jerimiaih said hes probably gonna move to FS but it sounds like Decosta likes him as a CB from the presser

I dont know shyt about him so I cant speak on the player but this looks like a huge reach

wouldve grabbed another olineman or a FS before taking a CB

Im hoping we sign the Titans tackle too

I still think we'll probably draft a tackle to develop tomorrow

as of now this is how the line looks

LT = Ronnie Stanley
LG = Ben Bredason or Ben Cleveland
C = Bradley Bozeman
RG = Kevin Zeitler
RT = Tyree Phillips

we still have Patrick Mekahri and Ben Powers as back ups

I think if we take a tackle in the 4th tomorrow and sign Dennis Kelly Monday we'll be in good shape with the line

Kelly would start at RT and Phillips and the rookie can battle for the backup spot

Yup, they should've got someone else. He's the 219th ranked prospect which means he either was projected in the 7th round or undrafted all together.

I think these are Harbaugh picks because he values special teams so much. IMO, you shouldn't be drafting special teams guys.

I completely forgot about Zeitler and Powers. If they get Dennis Kelly the oline will be solid once the Centers are able to snap the ball in the shotgun, not get bull rushed and communicate stunts.
