This will work out, and I can see us being a perrineal 90+ win team Ala the Dodgers. I'm not saying we'll be a dynasty, but the Mets will be a squad that will year in and year out compete for the NL East.

Yo, the Mets are on some aggressive sales pitch shyt for 2024. My wife got a call and they offered us a tour of the stadium for free and batting practice next week. Where I'm sure they will try and sell me a seating package. I'm gonna bring my son for something to do. But damn, the season ended Sunday.

Might be his only FA period why not.
It's weird how there is a story about him daily when he isn't a FA until after next season. Usually means their is a PR firm or publicist assisting in pumping these stories out. It could be coming from Pete's side but much more likely to be coming from the Mets. And if that's the case that lends credibility to the trade rumors.
