Thanks Buck, but its time to move on :salute:

This organization is moving away from making the playoffs, then going 5-10 years without sniffing the playoffs.

Cohen wants this team to be a perennial competitor, enjoy retirement :salute:

While I liked Buck and thought the losing wasn't his fault I think the circumstances just dictated a change was necessary (losing season + new president).
I like when ownership, executive management and manager are all aligned. Jets for awhile (not now) had a coach the owner liked but the GM didn't or the GM liked but the owner didn't, etc. It can be a mess. So yeah get it lined up correctly.

Not surprising. Any incoming President would want to pick his own staff. Buck knows how the industry works.

Stearns needs to bring in Counsell. They have a history together and work well. It'll also be nice having a younger manager. It also lines up well cause counsell needs a job himself.

If not counsell, I would like espada from the Astros. He was in the mix for the job before they hired Buck.

Like Rick Peterson said on his way out, "Homes go through renovations, I'm the hardwood floor that's getting ripped off and they're going to bring in the Tuscany tile."

Some quick highlights:

- Eppler and Buck never really got along. - Buck was not part of conversations during trade deadline.
- Buck was hired by Cohen
- Eppler wanted Vogelbach in the lineup everyday.
- Stearns wants his own manager.
Not that any of this is not true but I would take it with a grain of salt. Bill Madden is a curmudgeon loser, who has an axe to grind usually and gets things wrong. When A Rod was suspended he said A Rod would never play in the MLB again. lol
