This lineup struggled last season fighting back in games. Today, down 2-0 in the 2nd inning, against the AAA Nats ... and more of the same.
Marte looks done. Lindor is lost. They can never get a big hit with runners on. They never break a game open.
Escobar gets a gift triple and the first thing Nido does is give them a free out.

The Nats starters the past two nights are studs, so at least they aren't getting dominated by random run of the mill pitchers :pachaha:

Had to google the Nats starter when I saw he had 10Ks though 6 innings :damn: Seems Nats fans are high on these dudes even before the season started

The problem is the Nats give the Mets gift after gift, errors, bad plays, relievers come in and hand out walks, and the Mets never take advantage, sh*t is exhausting.

Yeah those two are legit prospects. I'm not even mad at them cooking this lineup but after seeing last season's September and October, this is so familiar.

That top of the 8th was disgusting. Buck needs to stop pushing the bottom tier bullpen arms too much. Thank God they went back ahead in the bottom of that inning.

I need Baty/Alvarez in there tomorrow again. Both looking better.

Of course when the game matters most--5th inning of a possible rain shortened game--Peterson implodes.

I can't wait for the day that Canha, Peterson, and Nido are gone :mjlol:
