New reports are that Meyers salary is the hold up right now about the trade

Also said no top 5 prospect in the system is included

So I'm gonna guess that to get the deal done, they are gonna have to eat the price contract

padres want a superstar and a team to take Myers contract without giving up a top 5 prospect I understand not giving up gore but patino,trammel,Edwards etc should all be available

Should be a no-brainer for the Pads.

Price is still a quality pitcher and he's only signed through 2022. He'll get that NL stimulus and probably lower his ERA a full run or so. San Diego needs starters too.

Trammell has to be available...is he even considered a top five prospect anymore? His OPS was below .700 in AA this year. He hit like .230.

trammell was a top 30 prospect and #9 overall outfield prospect entering 2019, he didn't even make the top 10 outfield prospects for 2020

gore should be the only untouchable
