Get Out was my heart's pick but Shape of Water was my brain's pick. Not mad at it. Props to Del Toro again and everyone involved.@Dominic Brehetto was right tho. This was a very predictable ceremony. Everything went according to plan

It was a well directed movie but it wasn't all that.

Not completely disappointing. But I certainly would have loved to see this film win.
Regardless, the movie is outstanding and will remain an icebreaker for future black writers/producers/actors/actresses.
