C.J. Mosley among early leaders in Pro Bowl voting

Baltimore Ravens inside linebacker C.J. Mosley is certainly gaining increasing support to make the Pro Bowl in his rookie season.

i

MosleyESPN's John Clayton named Mosley to his midseason All-Pro team. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. had Mosley once again atop his latest rookie rankings and called him the midseason defensive rookie of the year. NFL.com's Gil Brandt had Mosley atop his list of rookies who should make the Pro Bowl.

The fans obviously agree as well. Mosley is the second-leading vote-getter at inside linebacker in the early results of Pro Bowl balloting. He has received 71,246 votes, which trails only Carolina's Luke Kuechly (105,730).

No other Ravens players were among the top two vote-getters at the other positions.

Fans can vote on the NFL's website until Dec. 15. The Pro Bowl players will be announced on Dec. 23.

Mosley is looking to become the first Ravens rookie to lead the team in tackles since Ray Lewis in 1996. His 90 tackles rank fourth in the NFL.

"I know [what] I’m capable of," Mosley said. "The transition from Alabama to here has been so easy and great for me. I can’t take all the credit, but [it is] a great defense and great coaching staff. [I am] just doing what I have to do to make plays.”

Mosley is on pace for 144 tackles, which would be the most by a Ravens player since 2010 (when Lewis made 145 tackles).

This nikka Melvin Gordon(Wisconsin RB) has 369 rushing yards right now :wow:

I think this his 2nd game this year with over 300 yards

I only mention it because he could be our RB next year

Our RB coach was his RB coach at Wisconsin last year and im pretty sure he's gonna campaign for us to draft Gordon

i did like the Nebraska RB more but im sold on Gordon now, dude is a beast :ohlawd:

I like what i saw tonight

I don't think our offense has ever played this consistent throughout a game

Defense played well too even though they gave up a shytload of yards

Next 2 games are crucial for us

If we can win those 2 i think we run the table and finish 12-4

Yeah, I'm feeling very optimistic. Will Hill done really well matched up on Graham all game.

Season over. As I've been saying, harbs, the entire defensive coaching staff, and every defensive back on the roster have to all go.

The bengals losing today opened things up for us to take the division

We just need 2 things to happen

1.We gotta win out
2.We need Cincy and Pitt to lose 1 more game

Cincy and Pitt play again in a couple weeks so 1 team is garunteed to lose(hopefully Pitt)

Cincy plays Browns,Broncos,Pitt to finish the season

I can see them losing atleast 2 of those and not making the playoffs at all

The thing is we just need Pitt to drop 1 more game

I dont know who holds the tiebreakers and all that other bullshyt

Pittsburgh:
at Atlanta
Kansas City
Cincy

Cincy:
at Cleveland

We really need the AFC west to come through. We need to win out, but going to Houston scares me. I'm not sure how we going to handle Watt. Cleveland might also pull out every trick in the book as well during the last game of the season.

Houston doesn't really scare me

We match up pretty good with them and we have their former coach to give all of their weaknesses

In years past good defenses used to scared me but with this years squad only elite qbs scare me

Cleveland dont scare me either. They will find a way to lose like they always do

Far as the division Cincy got a tough ass schedule.I could see them losing out and finishing 8-7-1

We really need Cincy to win the rematch against Pitt

If they can pull it out i think we take the division

Either way we are set up nice to make the playoffs

All the 7-5 teams lost except us and Pitt

Cincy is sliding and probably wont make the playoffs

Its us and Pitt for the division and loser will probably get the 2nd wildcard spot

Congrats to Elvis Dumervil for breaking Peter Boulware's Ravens sack record with 16 sacks this season. Question is brehs, do you think he can break Michael Strahans NFL sack record?

Dude has been on a tear but I can't see it.

It's so frustrating watching the Ravens the past few years. Any time we fix one facet of the team, another one becomes garbage. Our o-line, front 7 are all straight, but the secondary is fukking disgraceful. On paper right now it has to be the worst by a mile. Webb who was my favourite Raven is looking washed :mjcry:
