Elam should just be cut already. Anyone who this late into the season is grading out in coverage as the worst in the league won't improve into a good starter. Steve Smith needs to hold that ball. Can't afford to punt back here.

edit: We are AWFUL on third down on offense and defense this year, but our punter is fantastic. If only our corners would stop allowing those 12 yard curl routes while being content to tackle after the catch.

9 runs for 20 yards and we've let a rookie 3rd stringer go 13-20 for 165 and a score. brees is gonna get at least 375 and 4 scores against us.

edit: 0-6 on third down and 86 yards of offense at home against the 28th ranked defense. Our preparation is next level awful
