It was a W but not the most encouraging ever. D started out badly but played great for most of the game. Offense has regressed so much from the start of the season.

i dont even think the offense has regressed,we just arent that good

Yeah it was really just a good month we had. Joe is good, but he isn't great. Never will be, and we only have one receiver. Minus Smith, the secondary is jets level bad that we can get better with street signings at midseason. Pees is a part of that issue. Can't develop young defenders with the mentality of bend but don't break. If the thought is to be ok with giving up yards, they'll give up much more. Have to have a take no prisoners attitude on defense.

Flacco can be great but he needs talent around him to take that next step

i dont think people really understand how much our skill players suck.Our starting RB should be a 3rd down back.Our starting TE should be a back up.Steve Smith should be a #2 WR not a #1.Torrey should not be a #2,dude is just a field stretcher...same for Jacoby.I like Marlon and think were fukking up not playing him more but hes average at best

far as Pees i think we play bend but dont break because he knows our corners would get ate up if they played man consistently.a couple years ago when we had Jimmy,Cary Williams,and Corey Graham we were more aggressive and didnt play bend but dont break so i cant really blame Pees.He has to work with the players hes given

Our biggest problems are because of a lack of talent,thats on Ozzie

I'm so fukking mad that Jimmy is out for the season. Dude was playing elite shutdown corner level. Easily best in the league.

last year was the deepest WR class in a while and we didnt take anybody until the 7th round

I was heated in the draft thread. Ozzie has been loading the drafts with just defensive players and has been hit-or-miss at best. Elam pick looking terrible now

Terrible is putting it lightly. He's graded out as the worst safety, free or strong in the entire league. Leads the league in blown coverage plays I think, leads all defensive backs with 12 missed tackles, quarterbacks are 17-24(71%) for 276 yards and 2 td passes at him, and he has 0 picks with 1 deflected pass. We should cut the guy. You don't grow from the worst defensive back in the entire league into a useful player.

Agreed. His lack of awareness,coverage and tackling ability cannot be fixed. Dude is a huge bust.

i seriously have no idea why they arent even giving him a shot.I saw this nikka alot in college and he has great instincts and hes a great athlete

at the very least he should be on the field on obvious passing downs

last 2 weeks hes been active and playing on special teams but they not giving him no snaps on D

Was at the game today... webb seems like he is done. Mettenberger was throwing on him until the coaches put gorrer on that side...Elam doesnt even play safety anymore.. we were flat the whole first half, we should have beat the titans by much more. Dean pees timing for blitzes suck.

He also telegraphs them like crazy. Worst blitz design I ever saw. Webb needs to get the axe. Guy can't cover anyone anymore. He gets picked on by everyone same as Elam. I'm not sure we should keep any of our defensive backs besides smith for next year.
