they gave up Vizcaino for Maholm
...and Reed Johnson....and some cash I think.
I'm not sure Maholm is a real upgrade over Delgado honestly.
Certainly not worth Vizcaino, unless they have real concerns about his rehab (he had TJ surgery this spring)
But I've always been a big Arodys fan
well finally Snider will get his chance to finally stick

I also think the Cubs will still trade both Dempster and Garza.
Dempster because there is no reason not to. They aren't going to offer him arb in the offseason, so really whatever they get is a bonus. Sucks for them though that he destroyed all their leverage.
Garza because the market is THIRSTY for front line starters after Hamels re-upped and both Johnson and Shields appear to be longshots.

oswalt is a failure. we need garza but don't rape us. 
To be fair, Snider has had plenty of chances to stick in Toronto. He's just been awful. Zero plate discipline.
