My guess is they believe that Liriano is there for 2 months and then gone....and does Frankie really make anyone better right now?

That was a mirage...he's been average at the plate since and is still one of the worst outfielders in all of baseball.

As far as Liriano goes he is 3-10 with a 5.31 ERA this year....and had an ERA over 5 in 24 starts last year too. Some team is going to be crazy and offer him like 3 years 33 million this offseason and the Twins weren't going to, and I dont think the Sox will either.
