Well, yes. I mean, by the letter of the law (rules, whatever), there was nothing he did wrong in getting himself acquitted. It's probably the only way he could've gotten the suspension reversed. That's the one thing that's overlooked...if he had said it was in some medication, or supplements, or whatever, there's no way the suspension is reversed. Technicality or not, they used it to their utmost advantage, and it worked.
Regardless of the positive test, I don't believe he "knowingly" took any PED's. There were a couple of rumors why there was such a high spike, and while we'll never know, this season, and his whole career really, should go a long way in showing that he doesn't need to take anything.
I mean, he's basically had the same season, for 6 years now (and he'll be setting career highs in a few categories this year). It's already been stated that he's been tested a large amount of times over his career, and I'm sure he's been tested more than usual this year. So that skepticism should be thrown out the window.
hows that stupid, they didnt win their division...if they did they wouldnt have to do an extra game
I know Trout's having a great season, but Cabrera could actually win the Triple Crown. A lot of people will still think Trout should win MVP and I don't blame them for thinking that way, but I just can't imagine a guy winning the Triple Crown in today's game NOT getting the MVP. With Comerica Park as his home stadium no less.
It's stupid because the wild card team has always been treated as a real playoff team but now because you added a second wild card team it penalizes the first wild card team and make them plays a one game playoff to make it to the real playoffs. shyt is stupid.
Almost as stupid as the #1 seed having to open up their playoff series with two straight road games.
Ted Williams won TWO Triple Crowns (which, for the record, isn't an actual thing - it's just a made-up title for leading in three arbitrarily chosen statistics) and didn't win the MVP in either season.
Most illogical shyt ever. Some reward for having the best record in your league.
They dont give out Awards for leading the league in OPS and Slugging

Yeah, I thought at the time they should have postponed the plan a year so they could schedule it right.
But, it is only this season...and I'm glad they did it now because I'm not on one of those teams, and w/o the 2nd WC the NL would be boring as shyt
Which you should be vehemently opposed to since he had by far the best numbers in the AL both years. He lost to two Yankees because they won the division in each of those years.
His OBP was .499 each season and his OPS was over 1.100.
There's a reason the Triple Crown is a big deal. It's difficult to do and to say it isn't impressive is just being stubborn.
