How can anyone hate baseball? no other sport in their regualr season can match what baseball has with penenant races :lawd::whew:
yeah, there is nothing in regular season sports like the pennant chase. Nothing. Its incredible to sit here and watch.

Did you SEE it though?

That never gets called, the catcher had to bring the ball up and try to frame the pitch. No one thought that was a strike.

*edit*
It was a really good pitch though, I'll admit that.

:dead:

Three things.

1. The ump clearly thought it was a strike.

2. It shouldn't matter how the catcher receives a pitch.
Note: I LOVE watching a good catcher manipulate pitches...one of my favorite parts of the game honestly. Jose Molina is a GOD at this.

3. It looked lower, and probably felt lower to Ross, because the majority of hitters stand well back in the box while the strikezone is the front of the plate.

:smh: @ seeing proof and still saying "but it didn't look like a strike!"

Man, I was watching that whole game and the ump wasn't making that call consistently. Lol, you can spare me that "seeing proof" talk, batters adjust to the way an ump calls pitches, and he wasn't giving pitchers that call. That, coupled with the fact there was a man on second, sent Ross over the edge.

So yeah, by the technical definition the ball probably crossed the plate in the strike zone, but it def. was 'low' as defined by earlier calls.

And Ross stands pretty close compared to the majority of hitters.

My Pops Forever RIP
very random thought: even though he's banned for life pretty much everywhere and he's a baseball pariah, it's cool as fukk that me and Jose Offerman go to the same gym. Most random shyt too. Three years ago he led my beloved Licey Tigers to the 2009 DR Title. Now he lives around my way and lifts weights in the Judgment Free Zone known as Planet Fitness.

Offerman kept it too real. Still my manager though :to:
