Honestly the Heat have had a shytty history developing frontcourt talent. We still have Joel whose offense around the rim looks a bit improved, and we still have Dexter Pittman, but that dude is completely useless. It's just after Bosh, Haslem, Lewis, Anthony, and Pittman, a rookie is going to be an odd man out as far as minutes are concerned.
My guess is on paper our front office figured it was so cluttered there was no need to add another front court dude.
Honestly, I firmly believe the Heat just don't give a fukk right now. This same shyt happened last year and honestly, the key guy who needs to step up is Wade. In that Pacers series last season when he turned it on after that horrible game, the entire momentum shifted. They need to collectively give a shyt to win again.
There's no question they have the talent and depth, but do they still give a fukk? That's a question that remains to be answered. We'll know come Spring, however.
