Breh, your defense of your fellow Canadian is admirable, but Tristan simply isn't that good.

That is why he will always be considered a reach, because you can find a player like him much later on. And fam really, he's shooting 43%, which is by far the worst of the bunch and Markieff shoots 3s so him being under 50% can be explained.

None of them are improvements over TT...Some have slightly better numbers in some categories and lesser in others...3 of the 4 are far worse defenders than he is...All of them put up stats on losing teams or on teams where they arent important to the teams success...and he is outperforming people taken AHEAD of him in 2011...

This is like debating Milsap or Al Jefferson...Cleveland wouldnt be any better with any of those guys in his place...

theres a reason some play less mins and come off the bench hence obv lower numbers...43% isnt great but its still based on a small sample of games...Hes quoting miniscule PPG and rebounding numbers to make an argument thats silly...You really think terrence jones and Nicholson are huge improvements over TT your fooling urself but thats what this argument has become

How is he a better defender? He doesn't block shots, he stays getting bodied by larger offensive players. You're acting like he's prime Ben Wallace with the help defense. If the Cavs thought as highly of him they never would have taken Bennett.

They took Bennett because they believed he was the best player out of the top 5 or 6 right or wrong thats what they thought...
hes not going to win a DPOY but hes a better defender than 3 of those 4 and two of those 4 dont start because of that reason...

I wouldn't take him over any of those dudes if it meant taking him 4th when I can get them later, why are you ignoring the fact players outside the lottery are producing more than the 4th pick. Kanter is a center that creates his own offense, you taking Thompson over him would get you fired, just like Grant taking Waiters over Barnes, Lillard and Drummond will more than likely cost him his job. You're the one that brought up "losing teams" when all the teams those guys play for currently have better records than the Cavs
