they basically are screwing people over of marked up hardware they could obtain on their own for far less. i guess i can't talk seeing as how i use an iPhone 5 knowing Andriod has far more freedom.

this is all water under the bridge for PC's. back in the day it cost like $20,000 if you wanted a real IBM computer. that's why "IBM Compatible" computers became popular. now like 20+ years later, we're finally seeing "Apple Compatible" computers

I use to until I started saving everying on an external HD. The one I had was full so I copped a new one to off load everything I put on there for the past 4 months. I shouldn't have to go through all of that though.

the last 3 times this has happened I either had to get a new HD or pay to wipe the bytch and start over.

People still downloading 4.7GB movies these days? I stream most of my stuff these days.

I only used 9GB of my 465GB hard drive.

it takes about 20 minutes for me to fully download a 5gb file. why wouldn't i download that over streaming it. uses the same bandwidth whether i download or stream but if i download i never have to use the bandwidth again. between all my computers i have over 10TBs of storage so that's not an issue.

I got about 2TBs of music and movies I downloaded between '05 - '08, since then I mostly stream videos. And I stream albums these days, and only download the mp3s I like.

it appears my MBR was fukked up. How it got fukked up who the fukk knows. But I still said fukk windows and installed Ubuntu. Destroy and Rebuild. Neva fukking with Windows again.

Takes about 15-20 minutes to fix the MBR without destroying all your data. In my experience, if your MBR gets corrupted, it's more than likely due to incumbent HDD failure.
