The word 'smark' is outdated. These are not smark marks. They're hypebeasts. 20 or 15 years ago, maybe even 10 years ago...the word meant u knew more about the product than the average fan and critiqued it accordingly. Now its just a group of fans riding waves. They hate Roman because its cool to hate Roman. They love The Revival because their internet friends like The Revival, they dikkride heels because it makes them feel cool and subversive etc.
That's all the Raw after Mania has become. A fashion show, but replace clothes with chants. I understand why a jaded young fan might be attracted to that and WWE in so many ways created these fans themselves...but to me its off-putting. I miss when fans cared about the story and responded from the gut. Now its just a social gathering with less attractive women and no drugs. Lame in my opinion.
