White Men Can't Jump
Money Train
Murder at 1600
Blade
The Art Of War
Drop Zone
Passenger 57
Those were the ones that had my attention around that time.
The thing is he never did like serious Oscar bait drama's during the best time for them, which was like 1997, 1996. He had a return to form in 2010, with Brooklyn's Finest, but that was it. He was one of the best actors of the 90's, best stars, he was maybe better than Will. He may be a better actor.
US Marshals
Demolition Man
Jungle Fever
King of New York
Major League
Rising Sun
The Fan
Sugar Hill
That's a hell of a resume
Oh I forgot US Marshals, I saw that in theaters opening weekend. I saw The Fan on black box PPV around 1996. Sugar Hill is close to being a legit brilliant movie, I watched on TBS around 1997. It just had uneven script. The scenes in Harlem, in Central Park, the jazz score.
Risiing Sun is a bad movie, but it's very 90's classic. Jungle Fever is maybe my favorite Spike Lee.
We didn't even mention New Jack City. He is a better actor than Will Smith, looking at all the movies
Yes sir! Even his lesser works like Rising Sun were great 90's cheese and were fun. He had a hell of a run.
You can make a strong argument he was the second best black actor from the '90s
I have it as
Denzel
Wesley
Will
Fishburne
My fave will Smith role by far.
I watch the film every xmas since it take place around that time.
Will's plan to put MAGA voight against size more without them knowing is
You're either incredibly smart or incredibly stupid
Then of course the call back to the hackman classic the conversation
They play US Marshals on TV all the time now. I've rewatched it 3 maybe 4 times last year.Oh I forgot US Marshals, I saw that in theaters opening weekend. I saw The Fan on black box PPV around 1996. So then logically that means that this movie was even less than those movies with regard to cultural impact. You just argue to argue. Also, once again, there are movies that "didn't land in the zeitgeist" of their time that are more talked about than Enemy of the State.
Nope, that's not what that means. Some movies are just forgotten regardless of their "cultural impact".So then logically that means that this movie was even less than those movies with regard to cultural impact. You just argue to argue.
Even in a B movie, the chemistry between Lopez and Wesley Snipes, almost takes over the movie. Wow. What fukking acting.
The script is solid in that scene, but their acting is just off the charts good.
I keep saying it and nostalgia does play a role, but movies just don't have this kind of feel to them. That kind of coolness. This movie is all male, all the time. But it's not a parody of itself. Nor does itself or the leads take themselves too seriously.
It literally does mean that. You can’t change what words men just to continue arguing.Nope, that's not what that means. Some movies are just forgotten regardless of their "cultural impact".
Best Will Smith movie. Great editing. It's one of the fastest 2 hours, the pacing is so good.
