Bleed The Freak

I wish more people would get Wesley Snipes his props
From 87-99 I would put his resume up against anyone

seems kinda limited..."He never looks up. He's smart."
"Why does he have to look up?"
"The satellite's miles above the earth. It can only look straight down."![]()
Wag the DogSaw this in theaters in 1998, when I was like 13. Everyone has nostalgia for their childhood, but what experience today would be like that watching this movie with 4 of your homies? I think a Dad was there too. And we loved this movie,
It was frenetic, and funny, and violent, and intelligent. Serious actors, a sharp script, great direction. Movies aren't like this anymore, like an R rated thriller that also works for teenagers, but makes them think a little.
Also, how paranoid were the late 90's, as far as movie themes, so much of my childhood memories of movies were of those government conspiracies
Murder at 1600 (The Chief of Staff)
Absolute Power (The president)
The Rock (general gone rogue)
Mercury Rising (NSA gone rogue)
Conspiracy Theory (NSA) or CIA
Enemy of the State (NSA)
The General's Daughter (5 Star general cover up)
Enemy of the State is rarely talked about AT ALL. I don't know
It wasn't a big hit and didn't really hit the culture zeitgeistI rarely hear Enemy of the State talked about as one of Will Smiths best movies
I thought he was great in Crimson Tide along with the GOAT Denzelgene hackman was such a great actor. and he bowed out gracefully from the industry. I've NEVER seen him have a bad performance in any movie.
It was a moderate success at the box office in 1998.It wasn't a big hit and didn't really hit the culture zeitgeist
That kinda wit where you make a person feel like an idiot without insulting them. Not everyone can do that.seems kinda limited...
maybe you should invent a satelite
maybe i will, idiot
Jake Busey was so
when jack black shytted on him
Yeah, it wasn’t a big hit. We agree. It was a moderate success at the box office in 1998.
Also, I've seen movies that were much less successful get more attention than Enemy of the State.
Still a hit, and like I said, movies that were less of a hit (or not hits at all) get talked about more. So your statement doesn't have much merit.Yeah, it wasn’t a big hit. We agree.
The movie didn’t make the cultural zeitgeis. it is what it is.![]()
You realize I said it wasn’t a big hit and you said it was a moderate success. You gotta stop being nit picky When we agree. It’s weird. You like arguing when there is nothing to argue about..Still a hit, and like I said, movies that were less of a hit (or not hits at all) get talked about more. So your statement doesn't have much merit.
It's a dope movie with a great cast and still slightly revelant plot. That's why it should be talked about more (and more YouTube reactions should be made). You realize I said it wasn’t a big hit and you said it was a moderate success. You gotta stop being nit picky When we agree. It’s weird. You like arguing when there is nothing to argue about..
and more importantl, the movie didn’t land in the zeitgeist. I was present and paying attention to the world in 1998/1999. This wasn’t it. It’s not the fault of the movie. Sometimes it don’t happen. And so what? We still like it so let that Be.
