Right off the top you were going on about how he's basically washed without the Gauntlet when even a Wiki scan would have told you otherwise. Thanos has always been about him being the greatest intellectual juggernaut in the universe and how that level of genius has twisted his entire view of Life. He can't even relate to 99% of characters because he's so far beyond them, Reed fukking Richards said he felt like a "dullard" next to him.

It just so happens that he's got base power levels coupled with that intellect that regularly puts the universe in jeopardy. You clearly haven't followed the character.

Just to make sure I don't repeat your mistakes, a fully fed Galactus is an order above nearly everyone, minus Abstracts. A half starved Galactus would do to Darkseid what Orion did to him on 10.

From his looks to most importantly how he is always portrayed. For some reason when people talk about him it's always ( well what about Thanos with the infinity gauntlet or Thanos with some other weapon/power) it's rarely him just as he is. That's like always saying (well what about Goku with the dragonballs)

Doom is the most interesting/best villain in comics

U think people love Thanos here..u should check out Cbr..lol. Here's the thing..Thanos is brilliant...like Doom, he can always improve upon himself and his situation. He's been written as ahead of the curve for awhile and he's ULTRA durable. So yeah..he can take most teams and very serious cosmic threats. That's Thanos.

Nah, but I should have been more clear. Thanos is way more powerful than Doom and Magneto, but I consider Magneto, Doom, Galactus, Dark Phoenix, etc. to be more interesting characters than Thanos.

I think he means that all of those characters are more interesting than Thanos, not necessarily more powerful (though Galactus and Dark Phoenix certainly are).
