darkseid is a lot cooler
DC better do him Justice when he hits the screen. I wonder if that whole God Killer theme from Wonder Woman is going to come into play during the Justice League movie? Like she might be the key to taking down the evil New Gods.

Magneto suppose to be more powerful than Thanos ? :dwillhuh:

I think he means that all of those characters are more interesting than Thanos, not necessarily more powerful (though Galactus and Dark Phoenix certainly are).

I find myself feeling the same way whenever I read a Post-2000 Starlin written Thanos story. Dude has a habit of making him a Gary/Villain Stu. It doesnt help that dude has been telling the same type of story since Infinity Gauntlet.

Despite Starlin being his creator, I prefer Marz's, Hickman's, and most of all Giffen's takes on the character. For example, Thanos role in Secret Wars. When he stepped to God Emperor Doom, he knew that he stood no chance, but he mentioned earlier in the story how people ought to face Death with dignity, and telling Doom just how inadequate of a god he thinks he is after helping cause chaos on Doom's piecemeal world seems like something that Hickman's Thanos would do.

what did I lie about?

Lie? Impossible since it's a subjective medium. Uninformed? Absolutely.

Right off the top you were going on about how he's basically washed without the Gauntlet when even a Wiki scan would have told you otherwise. Thanos has always been about him being the greatest intellectual juggernaut in the universe and how that level of genius has twisted his entire view of Life. He can't even relate to 99% of characters because he's so far beyond them, Reed fukking Richards said he felt like a "dullard" next to him.

It just so happens that he's got base power levels coupled with that intellect that regularly puts the universe in jeopardy. You clearly haven't followed the character.

You want something more current without the Gauntlet? Check out the Black Order & get some insight into the pure malice that sets him apart.
