O line lets a man come through unblocked for a sack...

Hands to the face wiping out a first down...

Coach just standing there letting the clock tick and doesn't realize he needs to step in and save the situation...

Just a terrible way to end a game that they could have won.

The logic was Chicago didn't want to burn their final timeout then run a play on 3rd Down that ends in bounds, which results in the kicking unit sprinting out rushing the attempt to beat the clock

Trying to preserve the TO was fine but once the clock hits single digits you can't let Caleb snap that ball. Flus fell asleep at the wheel like he always does late and close.

Devil's advocate - He wanted to save the time out for the 4th down and Caleb took too long to get the 3rd down play off.

That said, in real time it's dumb to let Caleb take his time that way and waste 30 seconds no matter what. Eberflus shouldn't have trusted him that much and that's his job.

I get the logic before the play. But once you saw Caleb taking that long you gotta call the timeout and just attempt the FG. If you think the FG is too long then call the timeout and get a Hail Mary play called, because they didn't have that called on that play.

You get down to Detroit 27 yard line with 2 timeouts remaining

Then matt calls a timeout soon when caleb hikes the ball

Then next play the TE is all karl malone with a pic play thats 15 yards

Then your QB who got clocks all around the stadium doesn’t see the time going down

And the coach like:ohhh::lupe:should i call TO or not

Chicago sports might be in its worst time ever with all they franchises

At what point does the coach call a timeout cause the QB got no fukking idea there’s a running clock? That was crazy.

Two things happened.

They expected Caleb just to get everyone back and run something quick and call the TO…but Caleb isn’t Matt Stafford/Joe Flacco who been in 1000s of those situations and know what to do …which is why he was just chilling in the Shotgun for 10+ seconds .

Eberflus had a stroke or some shyt and went full idiot..once it was clear Caleb was cooked he shoulda called it .

I know that’s what he was doing, but he should have called a TO. I’m in thr phone with thr phone company and even I was screaming Time out and I was half paying attention.

Coach fukked up. Look at his face. He knows he’s cooked.
