I'm not in that crowd. I accept mixed people who identify as Black as Black--as does 90% of American Blacks in the real world. Who said this? No, I'm really curious. I have never heard this about non-mixed Black women. I think people use "dating history" to judge Blackness only if the person is biracial. I don't agree with that logic, but for mixed Blacks yes, typically men are judged less on their partner choice than women by some in the peanut gallery.

I always thought it was because, at least in the US, mixed Black women married Black more often than not until around 2010 while mixed Black men always swirled heavy.
