I didn’t say they were Black at any point. I said they could pass for half Black when I would expect them to look Mediterranean, Turkish, or some other swarthy White ethnic group at that point.

You got to remember a lot of African-Americans are very diluted. So when someone is genetically 60% black and have a kid with a white person. They are still going to call that kid half black when in reality that kid is only 30% black.
