In this thread, I want to compare 2 countries and which has the advantage in different categories. Some of you may know these countries better than I do, so please correct me if I'm wrong, or fill in a spot that I left blank. Imagine you were trying to choose one of these to live in for at least 2 years. Try to base your answers off of the main cities that everybody knows.

Thailand (Bangkok/Chiang Mai) vs Colombia (Bogota/Medellin) *I've never been to Medellin, but since it's the most popular city recently, I had to include it).
=====================================

Which has the advantage?

1.) Motorcycle Lessons= Thailand (they have a few Honda safety driving parks in different cities around the country)

2.) Distance to family in home country = Colombia (I'm assuming that the majority of us are North Americans or Canadians.)

3.) Proximity to family or close friends in other countries = Colombia (I'm assuming that the majority of us are North Americans or Canadians, but this answer may be different depending on the individual.)

4.) Ability to make "real" friends with locals

4.5)
Safety from traffic accidents ???

5.) Easier Visa situation = Colombia

6.) Specialist Doctors (Gastroenterology, Dermatologist, etc.) = ???

7.) Banking, Currency, ATMs = Probably Thailand

8.) Weather = Probably Colombia

9.) Supermarkets = Probably Thailand

10.) Street Food Cleanliness= Colombia

11.) Gyms and Personal Trainers =???

12.) Dance Lessons= Colombia

13.) Swimming Lessons= ???

14.) Cooking Lessons = ???

15.) Likelihood to find a serious girlfriend = ???

16.) Likelihood to find a serious boyfriend = probably Colombia, but that's also because many Western women and Asian men aren't giving each other the time of day

17.) One night stand possibilities = ???

18. ) Where are you most likely to have a stalker = ???

19.) Ease of getting drugs (recreational) = ???

20.) Ease of getting prescription medicine w/out a prescription = ???

21.) Condom Availability = Probably Colombia has more relatable sizing options

22.) Willingness of women to consider abortions or Plan B = Probably Thailand

23.) Social Anxiety or Culture Shock felt by a foreigner = Probably Thailand, but this is a negative, so the points go to Colombia

24.) MMA gyms = Thailand

25.) Ease of getting a driver's license and driving= ???

26.) Walkability of the cities =???

27.) Pests (mosquitoes, cockroaches, centipedes, ants, etc.) =???

28.) Local's English Ability =???

29.) Public Transportation= Thailand

30.) Bartending lessons=???

31.) Potentially Dangerous Street Dogs = Thailand has more, but this is a negative so the points go to Colombia

32.) Hostels = Thailand

33.) Nightclubs = ???

34.) -Lounges =???

35.) Other "Drinks" spots = ???

36.) Religious Freedom = Thailand

37.) Beach Proximity = Thailand

38.) Where is your Sexual Market Value Higher (where will you be typically taller, handsomer, more unique)= Probably Thailand

39.) More golddiggers =???

40.) Racism = ???

41.) Natural Disasters =???

42.) Free Public Wi-Fi= ???

43.) Public Bathrooms= Thailand

44.) Better Primary Care Doctors = Probably Colombia

45.) Drinkable Water = Colombia

46.) Thermal waters/Spas/ and Natural Hot Springs = Probably Colombia

47.) Better looking women =Probably Colombia

48.) Better looking men = more variety, so ladies will say probably Colombia

49.) More physically fit women = ???

50.) Better free activities =???

51.) Better tourist attractions = ???

52.) Better Customer Service in general = ???

53.) Locals have better manners (i.e. not picking their nose in front of you, burping all loudly, etc.) = Colombia

54.) Less Noise Pollution = ???

55.) More Radical Feminism = Probably Colombia, so this is a point for Thailand

56.) More Western worship = Maybe Thailand

57.) Funnier people = ???

58.) Internet strength for remote work = Thailand

59.) Regular Massages = Thailand

60.) "Special Massages" and Street Walkers = Despite recent "Passport Bros" flocking to Colombia, it's still probably Thailand

61.) Chiropractors = ???

62.) Physical Therapy = ???

63.) Marijuana-friendly = ???

64.) Women smoke cigarettes = probably Thailand, and this is a negative so it's a point for Colombia

65.) Transgender and "Flexible Lifestyle" acceptance= Thailand (but they don't seem to try to force it on anyone, so it's not counted as a negative here. Based on your choices though, you can either consider it a point for Thailand or a point for Colombia)

66.) More easily-manageable country-side living options (i.e., you can be in a rural area, but you won't suffer so much from power outages, water shortages, lack of transportation, etc.) =???

67.) Tummy-to-titty ratio (one of the Coli's important new criteria) = Colombia

68.) Ease of finding Western items (without needing Amazon or a similar service) =???

69.) Where are men expected to act more chivalrous= Colombia, but most men don't really want to do this "just because", so this is a point for Thailand

70.) Likelihood of being scammed or asked to pay a bribe to the police =???

71.) Chance of being assaulted, shot, or robbed at gunpoint = the answer is Colombia, and that's a negative so it's a point for Thailand

*Based on my own tally, there was an average of 18 points for Colombia and an average of 18 points for Thailand. And over 30 other categories left unanswered.

=====================================
*THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER IMPORTANT CATEGORIES, BUT WHICH WOULD YOU HAVE LISTED THAT I DIDN'T MENTION?

* I'd like your input @Wiseborn and others who I'll tag later.

**I might put this message on Reddit in a few days and see how the answers compare

***Was there ever any serious thought to having a "travel forum" here

Bruh you gonna pay me for the work to reply to this. Admit you can't get p*ssy and keep it moving. You're lame ass and getting no cooch regardless

The volunteer psychology studies you can sign up for in college require less work than OPs post and you'd actually get paid for taking those :skip:

Wow I commend you on your analysis, I started my thread to give passport brehs who are considering living abroad full or part time ideas and options.

Obviously I can't give a defemite comparison because I never been to Thailand but I will say that I have a buddy who loved in Thailand and is trying to unload a condo in the Phillipines who is gung ho about moving to Colombia so there's that.

If you PM me I'll give you my contact info and I'll pass it along to my buddy.

That being said knowing dudes who did time in Thailand (including a white boy who loves Thailand but is in Colombia now with no plans to go back to Thailand soon.)

A lot of funny answers here. If you do a search history on this site though, a lot of people talk about this.

@Malcolmxxx_23 you are correct. The most diversity in women is here in the USA, but if for a number of reasons you're trying to live somewhere else for 1-2 years, then we're no longer talking about just that one category.

@Windows 91 you are also correct. I know that I wrote a lot. You think that I didn't expect some of these replies before I hit post:jbhmm:.
Still, I know that what I typed up will help some people with their own research.

@Jesus H. Christ forgive me for saying this, but you sound immature.

@YvrzTrvly you are wrong this time, but you did drop some truth bombs. It's good because the other posters can read them. This ain't post-world war II anymore. These women out here have options. Some are still going to give in due to a westerners big bank roll, but you still got to know how to talk the talk and walk the walk. If you can't even say "Hi" in your own home state, then you will struggle overseas as well. This can be corrected though.

@YvrzTrvly I know that you get mad play in your place of residence, but there's more to life than that. Isn't there?

females built like goddesses with azz , t*ts & no waist
vs
females built like 12 year old boys
Everyone who's been to Thailand assures me that while you won't see chicks with IG model proportions you won't have to deal with only flat backs either.

That being said you have to assume that any "thick thai" has been ran through by brehs who got to her before you did.

I don't mind helping you out but break in down into 4 or 5 question chunks and I will not only answer but run it by two dudes that have been to both places for an extended time.

I could even ask a dude that I know who spends a lot of time in Latin America (he's a flight attendent) but he did tell me that when he retires he wants to do it in Thailand.

Yooooo my man no one is reading all that :skip:

But to answer your question the one thats closer to America/The Caribbean and isn't known for ladyboys
You could stop here, There's tons of little shyt that I miss from america and if I didn't have people flying in I would spend a fortune on Fed Ex to get the stuff that I want. I had two ATM cards sent to me and it cost 100 bucks.

The ladyboy shyt is negliable because there's a lot of trehs running around in Colombia too.
