Put it this way. The same c00nism that black men participate in when dating others is the same as black women. Both seek others because of negative experiences. That's one of the reasons why I do not hang out with any black people that date/marry interracially. Largely they are c00ns. Yep. Honestly speaking I used to have this attitude that I did not care if people in our race were in interracial relationships as long as they still had Racial Pride and did not go the Tiger Woods route of downplaying their race or not acknowledging them. But I have begun to realize it does not do anything. Especially since women by nature act off emotion and 99 percent of the time the whole white guy obsession is born out of a vindictive nature of trying to "get black men back".
Is it any wonder why we will get clowns like Jill Scott talk all this talk about Black Men and white women, but will say nothing about her sisters like Naomi Campbell whoring herself out to European billionaires for her entire career("allegedly"), Halle Berry dating white men after Wesley Snipes and the other black guy because it "did not work out", etc.
And to your point, I don't even think this is anything new we have probably always been doing this. I am willing to bet when there was talk around the town about President Jefferson and their sista Sally, the only reason they possibly criticized was because she was fairer skinned.
I can say this because I know from experience but have you ever been around one of those mothers who are the types to tell their sons and daughters when growing up things like "that is why your skin is so dark" , "why is your skin dark.....it used to look nicer",etc? And obviously fathers could say it too but in my experience does it not seem like mothers are likelier to say it?
I do not understand what is with this disgusting colorism. The example I brought up about the whole Italy/Nigerian thing was not an example I plucked out my ass. It is something that actually was in the news I think sometime last year or the year before. But they will put it on the backburner and still treat white men as some prize. I bet the guy was having some racist thoughts about her while he was killing her.
The whole "white men appreciate my afro looks more" is hilarious especially giving the fact that alot of these dumbasses raise their sons and poison them with their own feelings about "nappy hair" and "dark skin". That in itself makes it more funny. With this whole annoying laughing about "girl im gonna get me a white men" shyt that they do. Even more than that, the white man may just be looking at her hair and looks as a fetish the same way a Japanese girl may have a strong lust for Black men because she is attracted to our masculinity but would hesitate to marry us....and not just because of her parents.
Mark my words.......one day there will be a big controversy in the news(or Worldstar) about a White guy being caught on tape laughing with his boys about his naive Black women and how she thinks he is such a prize and how thirsty she acts with him because she thinks he is a nice white guy.

People say black men are the only race of men that bashes their women, well go on Twitter and type in "nikkas ain't shyt" and you get a whole bunch of tweets almost all of them from black women bashing black men. That is why it is even more hilarious to me when you get some of them like Rihanna go on twitter and put up tweets talking about injustice like Rihanna did after the Travyon verdict acting like they have so much Racial pride....
