Black men not being in the position to influence our own beauty standard has really affected black women negatively, that white European standard of beauty hits black women harder because women are judged more off of beauty. that's why you got black women wearing these hair hats searching for validation.
People say black men are the only race of men that bashes their women, well go on Twitter and type in "nikkas ain't shyt" and you get a whole bunch of tweets almost all of them from black women bashing black men. It's just as bad if not worse because I've been hearing "nikkas ain't shyt since I was 7.
