I went to Home Depot yesterday to buy an outdoor spriget to replace the one by the garage and it was a long ass line just for the plumbing aisle. And the part was sold out at all the hardware stores on this side of town.

To be fair, it rarely gets cold like that in Texas to begin with. They will have a weeks worth at the most where temps fall below freezing but most times, lows will stay in the 30s with the afternoon temps in the 50s.

Between Hurricane Laura/Delta in 2020 and this winter storm the tradesmen have been ing something serious in TX and LA .

I know there are thousands of apartment units in Lake Charles that still have not returned back on the market, so can't imagine how many units will need to be rehabilitated across Texas.
