I would think that it would be some kind of law or precedent to stop Trump from public endorsing 1 vehicle brand. If I'm the CEO of Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Jeep, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, etc. (real American car brands), I'm seething that 1 car brand is getting this free advertisement, protection and endorsement. Not how the free market works. When Tesla loses a customer, one of those brands potentially picks up a customer.

Tesla's are a luxury vehicle. People don't spend money on brand new vehicles when they're dealing with the hardship they expect the country to go through.
It's amazing that Musk didn't consider that. Microsoft is essential in the corporate world. Amazon makes its money through servers and is priced at a point that arguably saves consumers money by saving them time and giving them access to cheap goods. Things like Google and Facebook don't charge people directly. Musk stood on a platform with a chainsaw calling for working man to lose their jobs when he's most dependent on them having disposable income.
