John Connor is killed in the beginning of the movie and Skynet is no more. A new technological advancement comes named Legion and the terminators send back Diego Luna’s Terminator to get this Mexican girl who’s suppose to be the new John Connor/Savior in the future. Then the resistance sends the white lady back to protect her

It looks better than the last 2 but I don't know if that's saying much. I'm starting to think the big 3 Fox franchises for the 80's (Terminator/Aliens/Predator) are all sort of dead unless they go a drastically different route.

Oddly enough I think Terminator series could go in some very creative and interesting directions, but if this movie doesn't do that well (and for some reason I don't imagine it will) then I could see us not getting another one for a long time.

A big problem with the "fighting in the present day to stop the future" thing is that they kind of made the T-1000 impossible to top. They've yet to make a more threatening bad guy, both conceptually as a 'killing machine', and Robert Patrick bodied the role so well that no one has some close to being half as menacing or threatening as him.

I liked the last Alien movie and I think David is a great character with a lot of potential but I agree these nikkas out of ideas with those 3 franchises

Aliens needs to source some of the old comic material because that shyt is full of great ideas

I'm amazed that nikkas are seemingly incapable of making a decent Predator movie that shyt writes itself in so many ways

Terminator is hopeless at this point and time travel is stupid anyway

Just an observation, but it's so ironic to me how a comic book series

and a fan-made animated film



could nail the correct look and tone of the Terminator Future War better than the last 4 Terminator films.

but Terminator as a franchise would work better as a TV/Netflix series at this point. Such a shame SCC was cancelled...it was a head of its time and would fit perfectly in this era of binge TV.

Movie logic
