Not sure why people say it looks good, it looks garbo. None of these actors have any presence, no character development for Sarah Connor whatsoever (she's just a 50 year older version of who she was in T2) and none of these goddamn actors have any presence!

It looks better than the last 2 but I don't know if that's saying much. I'm starting to think the big 3 Fox franchises for the 80's (Terminator/Aliens/Predator) are all sort of dead unless they go a drastically different route.

Oddly enough I think Terminator series could go in some very creative and interesting directions, but if this movie doesn't do that well (and for some reason I don't imagine it will) then I could see us not getting another one for a long time.

A big problem with the "fighting in the present day to stop the future" thing is that they kind of made the T-1000 impossible to top. They've yet to make a more threatening bad guy, both conceptually as a 'killing machine', and Robert Patrick bodied the role so well that no one has some close to being half as menacing or threatening as him.

2nd trailer is much better but still most likely it's going be trash considering it has a :flabbynsick: Arnold and Sarah Connor, the LGBT-1000, and a T-1000 that looks like Pee Wee Herman. That and seems like they're focusing on over the top action sequences instead of a compelling story.

No one came close to Robert Patrick except Arnold the GOAT in the first one :wow:

This is basically a reboot. Kind of reminds me of Star Wars TFA, telling the same story, and including actors from the past.

They reboot using this new "Sarah Connor", and probably tell the story that he originally had in mind back in the day with the OG actors if James would have stayed on. It allows them to start fresh using younger actors.
