He legit might be. As a fan I am annoyed that that he spent so much of his career doing nothing cause he was on Top Rank. He should have had more fights to really cement himself as a mayweather level draw.

There have been other skilled Brawlers who pioneered the style. Roberto Duran, Chaves Sr. and Cotto come to mind. All of them could brawl and all of them could counter punch with the best of them. What makes Crawford the best at it is his switching ability. That is unfair in 99% of the fights but then he also has a legit killer instinct, and can counter punch.

It’s why I always say when him that “Crawford beats people up”, because they don’t know how to stop what he does.
