Aren't rematches generally given when the fight is competitive??

Somewhat yes. But this can be properly promoted IF it's at 154. Errol at the post fight just now said he hopes for a rematch at 154 but it's up to Bud. He might say nah and move on.

Many people feel like Errol was at welterweight for FAR too long. Some folks feel he was drained, even Devin Haney felt that way. So that alone makes a rematch at 154 intriguing at least.

Not necessarily, unless it’s contractually obligated.

But from a business standpoint and from a fan standpoint, it will generally happen if the demand is there.

Rematch clause for this was bilateral:

Loser can exercise it
Winner chooses the weight.

Spence said he wants to move up after this fight and Bud is all knockouts at this weight so there are some things they’d have to work out if they do a rematch :yeshrug:

Rematch is good but Bud beat the snot of dude.
Bud saw blood in the 9th and the ref save dudes life. Then he had the nerve to be mad at the ref, stop it breh.

Someone said Erol looked half drunk or high, I said the same thing to when I watched him tonight.

For me, the rematch will be worse. Bud needs to move on.

This wasn't even close.

That car accident shook him up, not to mention being out of the ring for so long. Spence was talking a lot of shyt about breaking Crawford. You live and you learn.
