Tennessee has a problem giving black people money and letting them work it out.

They did something similar with that small town near Memphis that Ford wanted to build the electric vehicle plant in. They will not let black people have control of what they own if they can interfere.
All of this is on brand for the tn gov. They continuously go out of their way to punish both Nashville and Memphis along with the surrounding areas by threatening to not fund us and to put us in our “place”, the Justin Pearson situation is a good example of that. It’s so obvious why they do it but they don’t care because most of the state’s population feels the same way about both cities and feels that it’s justified.

Feb 19, 2024
Republicans filed a bill to get rid of Tennessee State University board members, the state's only public historically black university. Lawmakers could reach a compromise that would see some of the board remain in place

They create boards so that they can take the power away from you.

All HBCUs are in trouble. Black people won't control them in 50 years.

The system at work.

Black people need to control states that's our only recourse.

A reverse migration and invest in land in the south like our ancestors did until it was stolen.

They will group you in voting regions and make sure you don't control the state.

They do it all the time.

They will control 5 and you'll control 2.

Black people just have to work together better. We'll never control a region like that because our #s aren't strong enough and it's not getting better with immigration. Add in how many are dying at abortion clinics and it will never happen.

I agree with you about abortions but we can still absolutely control at least 4/5 states through the Black belt.

There are over 45 million of us in this country, we can definitely control multiple states if we truly grouped up.
