I don’t think anybody really shined on that song, but I was never a fan of Mystikal, so I’d say Mia X had the best verse. I’m kind of surprised he didn’t pick up on that.

I agree on the whole with your point that Wu Forever was a step down from 36 and the solo joints. I felt that way at the time. But Triumph was basically a perfect song to meYeah... I kinda expected this too. He saw C.R.E.A.M. and seemed to dig that one.
And if we're keepin' it a buck... there were some folk in '97 who felt the same way about much of Wu-Tang Forever as opposed to how they checked for Wu's 93-96 shyt. The same folk who felt 'CREAM' and 'Method Man' weren't all the way on board with joints like 'Triumph'. Classic joint for sure, but I could see how you could get to those U-God/RZA/GZA/Masta Killa verses and be like
