Then your argument is meaningless. You're appealing to a phantom source. It's the same as making up a reference in a paper, essentially.
There's nothing to argue here if you "won't" or "can't" correctly cite a source for anything.
It's not a phantom source, it's just a source that, you know, costs money. I'm not going to pirate my Observer collection just to prove you wrong. I want you to actually PAY and see how wrong you are. It's much funnier/satisfying that way.
