Juggernaut and other comparable bricks biggest Achilles against Supes is that they cant fly and they are too slow.

The problem with characters like supes is that writers have them use their powers like morons to make the books more entertaining.

Post crisis superman while not FTL like his pre crisis version definitely was still incredibly fast. Not sure how fast New 52 version of Clark is but we all know he's still faster than most characters excluding speed force users. (Well not currently)

But ANY version of Superman should end fights with most opponents he faces because of his speed advantage.

Not really unless you depower Doomsday and Juggernaut to make Superman more than what he is. All that tossing off earth..he doesnt even fight like that. Something a Galactus herald would do. It's this fantasy fught mode fans have created to justify Superman being harder to beat than average. Juggernaut is magic based..all that tossing shyt ain't working

Being slow wont matter if no one can back you up..

I agree Superman wont toss anyone off planet because he's not that kind of person.

But it makes no sense for him not to use his speed all of the time other than for the sake of the plot.

Its basically the same deal with Flash. They use their powers properly n the comic ends in one panel.

Using his speed in those ways would make him a killer and not the DC Captain America..so those options would never work.

All he has to do is pick him up change his direction so he is a non factor.
He is not going to fight him blow for blow.
But you should know this better then anyone. This is make believe you can make these characters do anything.

Super speed doesn't have to just be used with physical force. We've seen superspeed characters restrain/tie up opponents at super speed or disarm/ disable weaponry.

Why isn't this done all the time? No one will pay $3-$4 to watch super speed characters end fights in one panel that's why.

And for the record we've seen superspeed characters strike opponents using their speed but not at levels that would cause permanent injury. Flash does it all the time.
