I really haven’t been able to understand what Dropbox offers that you’re not getting from G Suite (for free) for the past 6 years. They have to be coasting of legacy customers from 06-16
Corporate customers seem to love them for some reason. But it's just a huge security vulnerability for employees to exfiltrate private company data.

Yet management won't get rid of it nor lock down its policies.

Believe it or not, LinkedIn has become like dating apps. You have to pay in order for you to be easily found. My friend was getting no hits until he started paying.
Plus they be letting companies list roles that seem like they’re not actually hiring for. When I was looking earlier this year, some roles were on there 4-5 months straight - and these were generic roles, not requiring special expertise, you’re playing games if you can fill a generic role in an employer’s market in 4 months

I think a ton of Indians overseas get hired via word of mouth. The hiring process over there is completely different than in the states.

The time it took to hire one person on our team in the US. The company would hire 20 or 30 people in India. You would be amazed how quickly companies can increase headcount overseas it's machine like. By the time US layoffs get announced all their replacements have been onboarded in India already.
They have engineering cohorts and contracting companies over there that specialize in this. Usually when you hire one they have a bunch of others at the ready they can pull to give you more devs. Plus India has no shortage of people
