They should get a fair amount relative to the amount of money they generate, which has 0 to do with the men's world cup.

Its bigget than the money.
They run stories and bring awareness to the mens team for weeks and weeks and they suck.

Women's soccer is irrelevant on a global scale which is why the women have dominated. If it weren't for Title IX, US women would be like the men. Women don't support women's sports at all. Look at the WNBA. You hear women talk about improved pay, but the same ones have never spent $10 for a ticket to see their local team.

Megan didn’t say that women deserve as much as men, she acknowledged the fact that the men’s game is bigger and generates more money. She just feels like they’re screwing over the women’s game. Without opening the books we can’t really assess if her gut feeling is accurate. FIFA doesn’t strike me as the type of organization to be completely transparent about its financials so I have no problem with Megan throwing this out there.
