I want someone associated with the offensive line fired. I dont give a fukk if it's not his fault but something's gotta be done.
Fukk it, i'd even be willing to give Tony Sparano a call right about now. He's always been a pretty good oline coach wasnt he?

I mean, now its now a matter of how many sacks we'll give up each game

vs Buffalo
@ New England
vs Cincinnati
@ Tampa Bay
vs San Diego
vs Carolina
@ New York Jets
@ Pittsburgh
vs New England
@ Buffalo
@ New York Jets

I can see EVERY SINGLE TEAM getting about 4 to 5 sacks on us except for maybe the Steelers game. But watch the Jets get 10 sacks vs this shytty oline

his olines were shyt as well.

we are just terrible at scouting o line talent. Look at Denver, they're playing their 3rd center and 2nd LT and still can keep the pocket clean

Sparano had shytty players on the Oline BUT from what i recall they played pretty well as a unit. THus why some used to praise him as a Oline coach. THts probably the only thing the fukka ever did well.. aside from the WildCat

Honestly, this is one of the worst o-lines I have ever seen on the Dolphins. I'm trying to think of one that is worse and I cannot.

There was a lot of blame to go around on the TEs, Backs and Tanny in the first 4 games but in this game it was all on the oline. They got owned. Even Pouncey.

Ravens didn't even have to send a Blitz for that Oline. Then when the protection held up for even a slight second, the receivers couldn't catch the ball or even make decent plays at the ball.

THis only shows how good Tannehil can be, really.

Think about it
  • No oline
  • No running game
  • Sometimes suspect play call
  • Bunch of bums dropping passes left and right
  • Has had to play from behind in every game this year

The kid is out there putting in work with no help yet still manages to impress. Can ya'll imagine if we didnt have these fundamental issues? :ohlawd:

Some of this has to be tannys fault dude looks like a rock in the pocket somtimes he has the David Carr problem of holding on the ball too long and not just throwing it away

The line sucks but I just watched Romo with a garbage line scramble around and make plays over and over out of nothing

Tanny needs to use those legs

Sherman must be in his ear about not being a scrambler or something

So to those of you that are into College Football. Is this an Oline heavy draft coming up? And I wouldnt mind another WR either but in the middle to late rounds but until we have Tannehill behind a decent line we wont know if we're set at QB

Tannehill has NO time in the pocket. defenders are beating him to his 5 step drop. wtf is that about?

the offensive line is doing NOTHING. how is tannehill supposed to let the routes develop? how can he go through his progressions? I'm actually surprised there aren't more INT's

dude is playing great IMO.

if defenses can get to him on a 4 man rush and we cant hold them with 5 guys and a te or back then we are doomed for the rest of the season.

I hear dolphins fans complaining that he hasn't been able to hit the long ball, but he just doesn't really have time. and the balls that he has thrown have been dropped. like 2 hands on the ball dropped.

smh

we have the worst o-line in the league. and Sherman needs to go, his offense is way too damn vanilla and unimaginative.

Funny part is, on that 4th down conversion at the end of the game, Tannehill was doing what he does best, throwing on the run, yet dumb ass Sherman never calls those plays by design even though that's obviously Tannehill's strength. He makes this dude sit in the pocket where he gets clobbered as soon as he sets, even on 3 step drops.

We need to have way more designed roll outs and even a few read option plays per game, just to keep the DE's honest, rather than allowing them to pin their ears back and bullrush our sorry ass tackles and collapse the pocket every play. Also, our coaches have no idea how to use Mike Wallace. He should be a chess piece that you move around to create mismatches. You also need to get the ball in his hands on WR screens, reverses, etc. We do none of that. Just make his ass line up on the right side and run a route.

let's be real though, the rookie tackles drafted early have been struggling, one is out for the season. Jake Long as well and even Brandon Albert to a degree (though either would be an obvious upgrade).

We're still 3-2 and I feel like we have a shot to make the wild card. Plenty of bad o-lines have found ways to circumvent their issues, but it will take good coaching and Sherman needs to wake the fukk up.

I agree with the Jake Long part Mofos were shytting on Jake because he was hurt the last 2 years and wasnt his old self. A limping Jake would have made this line much better I think it waseither @Gator Reloaded or @Da_Eggman that was calling for Jake's head. How you feel about that now, homie?

It's week 5 and Tannehill has been sacked 24 times. Worst in the league.
What's the next closest, you ask? 15

Just let that marinate for a second.:lupe:

I hate when people want someone gone but dont have a contingency plan. Know where you are going to land BEFORE you decide to jump. Dont let go of Long UNLESS you have something better already in place. The way they handled the Ellerbe and Dansby deal is the right way to go: Sign one, release the other. Dont just let a guy go and HOPE you can replace him.
