TanneTrill looked good on that drive. I love how this team continues to grind it out. I need to catch a game this year live....somehow.

Me too.. Been a while since i been to a Dolphins game. I fee like an outsider. THink last regular season game I went to was when Ricky was still here with Wandhsted coaching.

Edit: I just remembered I went to another when we got Brandon Marhsall but it was preseason.

Tannehill has grown into a Tannemountain :to:
I like the way he doesnt just go to one receiver. He spreads the ball around better than most QBs right now. Keeping everyone involved.

I like the Gibson kid. Always finds ways to get open in the mittle of a defense. Doesnt have much speed but just know how to find open spots in the middle of the field

And who is this Matthews kid? He looks like he's a lit like Gibson but faster.

great game, so much fun there. the crowd was hype the entire game. Tannehill and Hartline I apologize :to:
Looks like we drafted the right Ryan. :obama:
I've always been quick to call Dolphins rookies busts. I was arguing with y'all about that bum Ted Ginn from year one by like the 10h game. Y'all was tellign me to be patient but I know a bust when i see one. I originally called Ronnie Brown a bust but he made me eat my words... to some degree. :ehh:
But I always had a good feeling about Tannehill. I'm still not calling him a franchise QB but I like the kid. I just hope we dont get him killed shortneting his career with that horrible offensive line

The only real problem with Tanne, and only an occasional problem at that, is his pocket awareness. He has everything else --- the big arm, the fast feet, the mental acumen to master a playbook. But there were a few moments during this game where he just could not make up his mind and ended up getting sacked. It's very noticeable when he makes a throw that could have been magnificent if it wasn't just a tad late. He needs that extra half second of instinct and then he'll be golden.

I agree with this, but I've noticed a few times that on some of those plays I didn't see any hot routes to just dump the ball off.
The problem is our oline. They suck so much that we have to have an extra back or te just to stop a four man rush.

Since our O-line is such trash why doesn't Miami mix in more screens/quick throws. You got a speedy wr in Wallace and a speedy back in Miller. Utilize them and soften up that pass rush and lessen the burden on the O-line to hold their blocks so long. As long as the O line is garbage we won't be able stretch the field with Wallace because Tanny will get killed trying to let that go route develop...

I'm actually thinking long term and for once I believe Dolphins fans should be optimistic about the draft. (hear me out) For the first time in god knows how long we are pretty much set at the skill positions. We can for once focus on depth which, is a problem that showed up big time yesterday.
