i'm saying it's not as complicated as you make it seem. there needs to be a nationwide movement by upwardly mobile black people to pull away from the ghetto trash. yes, i understand that there are many good blacks in poor neighborhoods. but, that can no longer be our problem, because the majority in the ghettos don't want help. they want to wallow in degradation and filth, all the while blaming their poverty on everyone but themselves.
middle and upper-middle class black people need to unite and say "enough is enough" to the behavior of poor black people. i think doing so, and doing it in a loud and public way, will do wonders for those of us -- black people with something to live for -- who are trying to push this community forward.
