Just learned K....K was preeclampsic and had gestational diabetes which put both mother and baby at risk. Although she did have a csec planned this was not the case yesterday. She went to the hospital experiencing Braxton hicks and upon assessment her blood pressure was elevated to an unsafe number.
being born 5 weeks early should not render a baby under 5 pounds. It should be close to natural birth weight at 8 months.
If it is under 5 theres some serious issues with her pregnancy and I think it had to be done for her health/the baby's health.
